Kate A. O’Dell, is an Equity Partner of ConnorsO’Dell and Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Department. Kate is a native of Rochester, New York, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland and her Juris Doctor degree from the Villanova University School of Law in 1985. She is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Kate has over 30 years experience in insurance defense litigation in the areas of workers’ compensation, general liability, and appellate advocacy. Kate concentrates her practice exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation matters on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. Kate is co-chair of the Workers’ Compensation section of the Chester County Bar Association.
Kate has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, evidencing her intense dedication to the highest standards of professionalism and aggressive representation on behalf of her clients.
Kate has been elected to the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. There are less than 300 College Fellows throughout the United States, with Kate’s fellowship representing a capstone in her distinguished career is a workers’ compensation defense advocate.
Kate is also certified as a specialist in the practice of Workers’ Compensation Law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as Authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
